Statement Regarding the World Of Ink Project
Dear Artists, Partners, Exhibitors and Attendees,
It is with great sadness and a deep sense of responsibility that we address everyone who has been part of the World Of Ink project over the past years.
After many months of attempting to save the project, seeking financial solutions and exploring every possible option to continue its operations, we must announce that the company responsible for organizing World Of Ink will be filing for bankruptcy.
World Of Ink was born out of a passion for tattoo art and a dream of creating an event that would go beyond the standards of the industry. Our vision was to bring together the world's best tattoo artists, exhibitors and enthusiasts at a festival that would represent ambition, quality and the continued growth of the global tattoo community.
The first edition was our attempt to bring that vision to life. It was an extremely ambitious undertaking that required significant financial investment, organizational effort and logistical planning. Every decision we made was driven by our belief that we were building something truly unique that would continue to grow for many years to come.
Unfortunately, reality proved far more challenging than we had anticipated. Despite investing our own financial resources, obtaining external financing and spending many months trying to stabilize the company's financial situation, we were ultimately unable to achieve the level of financial stability necessary to continue the project.
For a long time, we genuinely believed a solution could still be found. We explored different scenarios, held numerous discussions and continued fighting for the future of World Of Ink until the very end. Sadly, we have now reached the point where we are no longer able to continue our operations or meet all of the company's obligations.
We are not looking for excuses. As the organizers, we accept full responsibility for the outcome of this project.
Above all, we would like to sincerely apologize to everyone who placed their trust in us.
We apologize to the artists, partners, sponsors, exhibitors and everyone who believed in our vision and chose to become part of World Of Ink.
Following the declaration of bankruptcy, all further matters relating to the company will be subject to the supervision of the authorities responsible under Polish bankruptcy law. The Management Board will no longer be authorized to independently administer the company's assets. All matters concerning the company's assets, liabilities and creditors' claims will be handled by the court-appointed bankruptcy trustee (syndyk) as part of the bankruptcy proceedings and in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.
This is not the ending we hoped for or ever imagined.
Our goal was to demonstrate that the tattoo industry deserved events organized with ambition, courage and international standards. Although the final chapter of this project is deeply painful, we hope that World Of Ink will also be remembered for the vision, passion and determination that inspired its creation.
